Alright, let’s talk about this here Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG thingy. I ain’t no fancy expert, but I know a thing or two about bags, you know, the kind you carry stuff in. It’s a box bag, which means it’s kinda square-like, you know, like a box. Good for puttin’ stuff in, I guess. Keys, money, maybe a lipstick if you’re fancy.
Now, how do you tell if it’s a real one, not some cheap knockoff from down the street? That’s the real question, ain’t it? They got these numbers, see, serial numbers they call ’em. You gotta look behind the tag, they say. The real ones got one row of numbers, not two. And listen to this, the old bags, they got twelve numbers, split in the middle with a little dot. Six numbers on one side, six on the other. The newer ones, they got letters and numbers, three letters then ten numbers, with a dot in between. Complicated, right? But that’s how them city folks do things, I reckon.

And another thing, these bags, they say they’re made in Italy. Even though the company is from Paris, France, the bags are made in Italy. Made in Italy, that’s what the tag should say. If it says somethin’ else, it’s probably fake. Don’t get fooled, ya hear? You payin’ good money for this thing, it better be the real deal.
They sell these bags all over, even on somethin’ called “1stDibs”, I don’t know what that is, sounds like some fancy internet thing. But they say you can find real YSL bags there. Just gotta be careful, lots of fakes out there. Folks tryin’ to make a quick buck, sellin’ you junk. So, be smart, use your eyes. Look behind the tag.
This whole serial number thing, it reminds me of them cows we used to have. We had to tag their ears, you know, so we knew which cow was which. Same kinda thing, I guess, just fancier. They puttin’ numbers on everything these days. Can’t keep up, I tell ya.
Now, some other bags, like them Dior ones, they didn’t always have numbers. If you got an old one, before 1997, it ain’t gonna have no serial number. And sometimes, on them smaller leather things, the number, or the “date code” as they call it, is near the stitchin’. You gotta look close, real close. It’s like a treasure hunt, I guess.
So, this YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s a nice bag, if you got the money to spend. Just make sure you’re gettin’ the real thing. Look at the numbers, check the tag, and don’t let nobody fool ya. And if you find one, take good care of it. A good bag, it can last you a long time. Just like a good pair of shoes, or a good cast iron skillet. Them things, they last forever if you treat ’em right.

Specialty Stores sell these bags, they say. I guess that means the fancy stores, not the ones I usually go to. But if you want a good bag, you gotta go where they got ’em. Just remember what I told you, watch out for them fakes. Nobody wants to pay good money for somethin’ that ain’t worth a dime.
And one last thing, don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you ain’t sure about somethin’, ask. Better to ask a dumb question than to get stuck with a fake bag. That’s what I always say. And that’s all I got to say about that.
