My neighbor’s kid, he’s always showing off his fancy stuff. Said he got this Remake Patek Philippe, a whatchamacallit, Gondolo 7041R-001. Says it’s an “Original order.” What’s that even mean?
This watch, it’s all shiny and gold-colored. He says it’s rose gold. Looks kinda pink to me, but what do I know? I’ve seen gold, real gold, and this ain’t it. This Patek Philippe Gondolo 7041R-001, it’s probably just a copy. He’s always trying to act like he’s rich. But we all know his family ain’t got that kind of money.
Gondolo 7041R-001, What’s the Big Deal?
He keeps going on and on about this Gondolo 7041R-001. I hear him talkin’ to his friends, sayin’ it’s a “manual wind.” Sounds like a lot of work to me. Just wind it and wind it. My old clock, you just wind it once a week. This one, he’s gotta wind it all the time, I bet.
And he says it’s got “small seconds.” What in tarnation is that? Seconds are seconds, ain’t they? Big or small, they all the same length. This Patek Philippe PP, it’s all just a bunch of nonsense if you ask me. He just likes to hear himself talk, that boy.
He showed me the inside of the watch. Bunch of tiny little parts movin’ around. He called ’em “jewels.” Said there were 18 of ’em. 18 jewels! In a watch! What a waste. Coulda used those jewels for somethin’ useful, like a nice necklace. This Remake Patek Philippe Gondolo, it’s just for show.
This PP Gondolo Price is Crazy!
Now, get this. He said this Gondolo 7041R-001, this copy, this “original order,” whatever that is, he said it cost more than $25,000. Can you believe that? 25,000 dollars! For a watch! I told him he was crazy. You could buy a whole cow for that kinda money! Maybe two!
He just laughed. Said it was a “discount.” A discount! Like that makes it any better. I’ve seen him lookin’ at these watches online. One of them, a real Patek Philippe, I guess, was almost $30,000. That’s more than what I paid for my whole house!
- 25,000 dollars for a watch
- Almost 30,000 dollars for a real one
- Discounted prices are still crazy!
That Boy and His Patek Philippe Gondolo
He says people “trade” these watches. Like baseball cards! Grown men, tradin’ watches. It’s just silly. And he said they sell new ones and used ones. Used watches! Who wants a used watch? Especially for that kinda money. This Remake Patek Philippe Gondolo 7041R-001 is somethin’ else.
He’s always readin’ about these things. I saw a paper on his table, said somethin’ about “introducing the Gondolo.” Like it’s some kinda fancy person. It’s just a watch! This whole Patek Philippe PP Gondolo 7041R-001 thing is gettin’ out of hand.
He keeps talkin’ about “caliber” this and “reference” that. It’s all gibberish. He says this Gondolo watch is a “reference 7041R-001.” Like it’s some kinda secret code. I told him, “Boy, you’re talkin’ nonsense!”
Original Order, Huh?
He calls it an “original order.” Says that means it’s special. Like it was made just for him. But I know better. They probably make a whole bunch of these things. All look the same. He just likes to think he’s special. This Patek Philippe Gondolo 7041R-001 Original order is just a story he tells himself.
I told him, “Son, you’re spendin’ too much time worryin’ about that watch. Go outside, get some fresh air. Do somethin’ useful.” He just rolled his eyes. Teenagers! They think they know everything.
That Remake Patek Philippe, that Gondolo, whatever you wanna call it, it ain’t worth all the fuss. It’s just a watch. Tells the time, same as any other watch. But he don’t listen to me. He’s too busy showin’ off his fancy, “original order” watch.
I swear, kids these days. They got their heads in the clouds. All this fuss over a silly watch. This Gondolo 7041R-001, it ain’t nothin’ but trouble, I tell ya. Nothin’ but trouble. He should be saving his money, not spending it on a silly Remake Patek Philippe.
