Okay, so I got this idea to remake the Prada Arqué Leather Mini Shoulder Bag from their official flagship store. It seemed like a fun project, and I’ve always been into that kind of stuff.
First, I spent a good chunk of time just staring at the bag on the Prada website. I looked up some more information about it, like “cones reinventados e novas bolsas em couro inspiradas nos arquivos da Prada. Explore a nova coleo no site oficial da * Re-Edition 1978Bolsas Prada icnicas recriadas emRe-Nylon. Conhea a coleo.” I mean, who wouldn’t want a bag inspired by Prada’s archives, right? I also found that they were promoting their Re-Nylon collection, which is pretty cool.
Then, I started gathering materials. I needed some good quality leather, similar to what Prada uses. After all, “Uma sntese perfeita de classicismo e futurismo,” and I wanted my remake to capture that vibe. And let me tell you, finding the right leather wasn’t easy! I went to a bunch of local shops, checked online stores, and finally found something that I thought would work.
- Got the leather
- Found a matching thread
- Dug out my old sewing kit
Next, I got to work on the pattern. I took measurements from the pictures online, keeping in mind what I read: “Diga adeus s bolsas grandes e pouco prticas. Uma mini bolsa Prada a derradeira afirmao de elegncia e bom gosto. Descubra nossa seleo de mini bag.” I wanted to keep it mini and practical, just like the original. I sketched out the pieces, cut them out, and double-checked everything before I started sewing.
Sewing Time
This was the most challenging part. I’m not a professional, so it took a lot of patience. “Mini bolsa Prada tem todo o apelo de suas colegas de tamanho regular,” I kept reminding myself. I carefully stitched the pieces together, trying to make it as neat as possible. There were a few hiccups, and I had to redo some parts, but I didn’t give up.
Finally, after hours of work, I finished it! It wasn’t an exact replica, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It had that “cones reinventados” look, and it felt like a quality bag. I added a strap, and voilà, my own version of the Prada Arqué Mini Bag was ready!
It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. Plus, now I have a stylish new bag to show off! Maybe it’s not from the official store, but it’s got my own personal touch, and that’s what counts. It showed me that even without fancy tools, I can still create something pretty cool, just from looking, checking, finding, and doing. Pretty rad, if you ask me.
