- Price: If you want to buy the original Seamaster 1948, it’s not cheap. I saw some for around $5,700, and some even more expensive, like $6,000! But by making my own, I saved a lot of money.
- Shipping: I read that the real ones started shipping in October 2018. I guess I was a little late to the party, but hey, better late than never, right?
- Variety: There are so many different versions of the Seamaster. It’s cool to see all the different forms and dial arrangements. It makes me want to try making more!
This whole experience has been a real adventure. I’ve learned so much about watches, about the OMEGA Seamaster 1948, and about myself. It’s been challenging, but also incredibly rewarding.
