This here Omega Speedmaster Super Racing, that’s a good watch. My grandson, he’s always on about these fancy watches, showed me this one. Says it’s real special, this Omega Speedmaster. He kept going on about the “Specialty Stores,” but I told him, ain’t no store more special than the general store down the road. But this watch, it’s somethin’.
He says it’s an Omega, a real good brand. And this Speedmaster, it’s like the king of the Omegas. I don’t know about kings and all that, but I know a good thing when I see it. This one is a Chronograph. Big word, that. Just means it has extra little clocks on it. And 44.25 mm. That means it is big enough, you can see it real good.
They got this new thing in it, he called it a “spirate.” Sounds kinda like pirate, but he says it ain’t. This spirate thing, it makes the watch real accurate. He says it only gains two seconds a day, and it don’t lose none! That’s some kinda magic, if you ask me. My old clock, it loses two minutes a day, at least. This spirate thing is good, this new technology they got.

Now, there’s other Speedmasters, he told me. There’s one called “Reduced.” Smaller, he says, 39mm. Good for a smaller wrist, I reckon. But this Speedmaster Super Racing, that’s the one. That’s the one to have. This reduced one is less good than the professional ones, it is 42mm. Still good, but not as good. Professional, that sounds good.
He compared this Omega Speedmaster to some other fancy watch, a Rollie or somethin’. Said the Rollie was more accurate. But I don’t know. This Omega, it’s good enough for me. Minus two, plus two, who cares? Long as it tells the time, that’s all that matters. And this Omega, it does that real good. And, this Omega Speedmaster is cheaper, I think. This is good.
They make these Speedmaster Super Racing watches special, he says. Not many of ’em around. That makes ’em worth more. Like my old teapot, ain’t many of them left. Makes it special. These special edition ones are good to have. This Omega Speedmaster Super Racing is a good watch to have. Limited is good, special is good.
This watch, it’s got a sporty look, he says. I don’t know about sporty, but it looks good. Strong. Like it can take a beatin’. And it’s precise, he says. Means it’s accurate. Like I said, that spirate thing. Makes it real good at tellin’ time. This is a sporty watch, good for young people.
This model, the Racing model. He had one of these, my grandson. Said it was good. He has a lot of watches, this boy. He has a lot of Omega Speedmaster. He said this one is good.
He went to some fancy event, saw a bunch of these Omega watches. Said this Speedmaster Super Racing was the best one. Lots of fun watches, but this is the best. Lots of good things on it, he said, all about the past. I like that. Old things are good. This watch, it remembers the old things. That is good, remembering the past.
This new Omega Speedmaster Super Racing, it’s got the best movement, he says. That’s the inside part, the tick-tock part. He says it’s the most accurate one they ever made. That’s somethin’. Most accurate Omega Speedmaster ever. That’s good. Means it tells the time real good, better than all the others.
This new one, it’s called the caliber 9920. Sounds like a tractor part, but it ain’t. It’s part of the watch. And it ain’t just accurate, he says. It’s somethin’ else too. But that’s all technical stuff. I don’t understand all that. Caliber 9920 is good, he said. I trust him, he knows these things. This caliber 9920 is new, this is good technology.
All I know is, this Omega Speedmaster Super Racing, it’s a good watch. It’s accurate, looks good. If you are going to buy one, the Specialty Stores will have it. You can get it there. This is a good watch to have. It is a good watch to wear. If you want a good watch, this is it. You need a good watch, this is the one for you.
